
Attraction Marketing…What is it and why should you, the network marketer care?
Attraction marketing is very simply put, using marketing methods that bring people to you, your product or service, your opportunity, etc…by doing what?? Attracting people to you!
The term Attraction Marketing is now coming to the forefront in MLM and network marketing, but for a ton of network marketers it is still a totally foreign concept. It is the opposite of what the majority of network marketers have been taught by their MLM uplines or mentors. Attraction marketing has absolutely nothing to do with chasing after your family, friends, warm market, or anyone else for that matter. How refreshing is that? People actually chasing after you for what you have to offer instead of the other way around! I’m in!
The whole idea behind Internet Attraction marketing is providing something of value to your customer, prospect, lead…whatever you want to call them. It’s about making connections with people that are like minded, and/or are interested in a product or service you have to offer. Attraction Marketing is building relationships with people by providing them with a solution to their problem, whatever it may be. And again, you’re not looking for them, they’re Looking For You!
So as a Network Marketer, why should I care about Attraction Marketing?
Because when you are a solutions provider with a real focus on providing benefit & value to others; providing them with “solutions to their problems”, what happens? Well, more times than not those people will come back to you time and time again. Why? Because you have built a level of trust with them! And…not only will they come back, but they’ll also tell their friends as well. This really is how great businesses are built.
Think about how you react to someone, say a salesman that you purchased a new car from…how was your experience, did he listen to you and genuinely try to provide value to you and provide a solution to your need of a car at the best possible price? Did he build a level of trust with you and did you walk away a happy customer? The next time you are looking for a car, will you first make a point to connect with that same salesperson?
I personally have the same two salesmen that I immediately go to when I’m looking for a new car, depending on the make/model (Ford or Chevy) that I’m interested in. The reason is because both of these men met all of my needs the first time (and by now up to the third time), genuinely cared about providing me with excellent service, went beyond what was expected, and they always, always make sure to follow up with me after the sale to say thank you and to make sure I am happy. They don’t have to do that, but they do because they know the power of attraction marketing. They know that the next time I want to buy a new car I’m going to come to them First! It’s the same way in MLM or network marketing, you absolutely must first provide the value and build the relationship based on trust. Then the money comes without you even asking for it!
If you’re tired of the “old ways” of marketing, including chasing after every person you come in contact with, calling an endless list if cold leads (which you’re going broke purchasing), throwing opportunity “parties”, 3-way calls, etc.. If you’re just plain fed up…There is a better way, and it’s called Attraction Marketing!
